Spiritual Workshops

Taking on a spiritual path is daunting, especially when you already have a busy life. It is ironic to be looking for peace while stressed about finding time for it. Even if you have made a space for practice, perhaps as a long time student, you can sometimes feel as if you are taking as many steps backward as you do forward. This is probably not true, but can feel that way when caught in fear and negativity. These workshops offer you opportunities to develop skills so you can better handle such situations.

Workshops offer many opportunities to apply, to experience and to answer questions about the use of the techniques and practices. Their main use is to provide opportunities to practice and apply the teaching. We intend these spiritual workshops to lead you beyond reading about techniques, and into using them. Also, the group intention of those participating is supportive. It is powerful to share your experiences with others of like mind and like intention. Such sharing will be offered as a long term part of the workshop.

The heart of the teaching: Spiritual WorkshopsBeing in a group who are sharing their joys, their successes and struggles, is very supportive. They can offer you their solutions and it feels good when you discover you have something to offer them. In a group, the sense of struggling alone will lessen and can also provide some much-needed clarity.

The "At Your Heart`s Pace" workshops carry a focus of living the practices - of being the practice. Ellen provides these workshops to explain the exercises in detail. She guides you through them step-by-step.

You are encouraged to use your budding skills during your week. Thus,in addition to the online learning and practices, each session focuses on problem solving your use of them in daily life. This gives you many more opportunities to clear what blocks the way to realizing inner peace, love, and joy.

We will be setting up forums to support the classes and the website. Joining such an online group offers additional and long term support and encouragement. You are supported while you learn to apply and develop the skills and positive habits you need to embrace spirituality as a lifestyle.

Workshops based on the book: "At Your Heart's Pace: An Offering of Essential Spiritual Exercises," are planned throughout the year. Both the online and in person workshops encapsulate the practices found in the Eight Modules (groupings of practices), offered in the book.

On-Line Workshops

The Tools Series

This 5 week online workshop (coming soon) offers in depth teaching and practice of the spiritual application of four specific techniques:

  • EFT© - EFT© releases blocked emotions. It uses light tapping on certain specific areas of the body to release negative emotion.
  • Releasing - This technique unhooks the you from old ways of experiencing emotion when feeling trapped and caught in negative situations.
  • Surrendering - The profoundly simple and effective practice of giving up and letting go of negative states of mind. This is the most important of all the tools as it is the foundation of spiritual growth/change/success.
  • Affirmation - The mechanics of affirming. Learn when and how to apply it in spiritual practice and daily life

The Module Workshops

The online workshops offer the opportunity to:

  • Get clarification and encouragement as you learn these new techniques and skills.

Module One: The Foundational Exercises

This grouping of practices focuses on the ability to watch and observe your mind, your emotions, and eventually observe them through the compassionate heart. Step-by-step teaching is offered on how to release when overwhelmed — the fundamental fear of fear.

Module Two: The Attitudinal Exercises

Apply entrainment, gratitude, kindness, contemplation, and prayer in everyday living to help you constantly shift your attitude to the higher states of consciousness. Notice the profound changes in your self, in your relationships, and in your life when you set up your inner and outer environments to reflect powerful, peace-filled energy. Learn the difference between contemplation and prayer.

Module Three: Shifting Awareness from the Physical

This set of exercises teaches you to profoundly shift your usual awareness. They encourage honesty. Letting go of resisting and struggling with "what is", will free your mind to listen for Higher Help and to explore and apply what you can do to make changes in the situation. This grouping also contains a deepening practice, which can help free you from the fear of loss and/or death.

Module Four: Finding the Essence of the Ego

Learn to focus on the vastness of the Silence. Experience the surrender of the ego mind. Discover the defining qualities of the ego and begin the process of releasing it, through releasing the desire to emote and think.

Module Five: Divine Presence

In this module you will begin to experience aspects of Divine Energy. Learn to move from object, or personally focused love, peace, and joy, to their Higher Energy Fields. Discover the comfort and support of "Divine Company" within the world and in your mind.

Module Six: Finding Our Way to Unconditional Love

Unconditional Love encompasses many aspects of living. The five exercises in this grouping focus on unattached Love. They give many opportunities to release prejudice and attachment. Realize the power, protection and true expression of Love. The final practice in this module is about being the energy of gratitude.

Module Seven: Higher States

The two major practices in this module ask a lot of you. The mastery of watching and contemplating, developed in previous modules, is necessary when applying the first exercise. It has you assess your common everyday mental emotional states. The final practice is a melding, egoless, body-less melding, into and as the Peace — the Vastness. Both practices bring up primal fears, essential for you to both discover and offer up for Higher Help and healing.

Module Eight: Moving toward Realization

These last three practices offer practical opportunities to express your lifelong commitment, dedication and focus to become Realized. They are suggested as practices to discover the resistance you hold toward extracting your self from the illusions of the world so to realize inner truth.

Ramana Maharshi and Dr. Hew Len of Ho'oponopono suggests that the single most important question to ask is "Who am I." Dr. David R. Hawkins suggests that replacing the "who" with "what", helps to depersonalize the whole contemplation.

Profound Changes

Application of the above exercises can bring profound changes in the quality and peacefulness of your life. They can radically shift how you live, as well as who you think you are.
